The MET offset through hole chuck enables tools such as gun drills, extra long drills, reamers or any longer than standard cutting tools to be loaded up to a 16mm diameter into the tool chuck. The tool is able to be loaded into the chuck in such a manner that it can be held as close to the cutting edge tip to minimize potential run out and tool flexing, with the remaining tool length hanging out behind the chuck.
